It all started in the early spring of 2018. The days were getting warmer, and something about that time of year felt full of possibility. That’s when Steven took a chance—after a few likes and quiet interactions on social media, he finally sent the message: "Can I take you out for date?"

Something about the way he asked felt easy, natural—like I was supposed to say yes. And so, I did.

That night, we met at a little bar in Yuma, not knowing that this simple date would change our entire lives forever. From the very first moments, the conversation flowed effortlessly. We laughed—so much that we lost track of time, lost count of how many times he made me smile. It wasn’t just the jokes or the stories; it was the way we just clicked, as if we'd known each other forever. One drink turned into two, then into hours of talking about everything and nothing all at once. Neither of us wanted the night to end. And so, we stayed—until the bar lights flickered on, signaling closing time. Even then, saying goodbye felt impossible.​ That night was just the beginning. What started as a simple date quickly became something undeniable.

Surrounded by rolling vineyards, breathtaking sunsets, and the people we love most en Valle de Guadalupe, Steven got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. It was perfect—beautiful, thoughtful, and so us.

And now, here we are, ready to say I do and begin the next chapter of our greatest adventure yet.
